Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
1. Overview
RightHand ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: when you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, the plan you're interested in, and any message you send. When you purchase a plan, our payment processor Stripe collects your billing information directly; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Information from social media or other accounts: if you provide access to social media or other business accounts as part of onboarding, we use that access solely to deliver the services you purchased.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, deliver and bill for our services, communicate with you about your account, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate our business, each of which has its own privacy practices: Stripe (payment processing), Google Workspace and Namecheap Private Email (email communication), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), Vercel (website hosting), and Anthropic's Claude (an AI assistant used to help research and draft materials). Information submitted through our contact form or checkout is shared with these providers solely to operate our services.
5. Email communications
If we contact you by email, including unsolicited outreach to local businesses, every email includes our physical mailing address and a way to opt out of future emails. We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days, consistent with the federal CAN-SPAM Act.
6. Data retention
We retain client information for as long as needed to provide services and to comply with our legal and tax obligations. If you cancel services, we retain billing records as required by law, and we delete or anonymize other personal information within a reasonable time upon request.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or opt out of marketing communications, at any time by emailing info@righthandtx.com.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
10. Career service: resumes and job-search information
This section applies only to our career service, where we research job targets and review resumes for individuals. It adds to the rest of this policy.
What we collect: your email address, your resume, and the intake answers you send us. A resume typically contains your name, contact details, work history, education, and certifications.
Your phone number is optional. There is a phone field at checkout and you can leave it blank. Nothing about your purchase changes if you skip it. If you do provide it, you are agreeing that we may text you occasionally about offers, updates, or to check how your search is going. Reply STOP to any message and we will not text you again. We do not sell or share your number, and we do not use it for anything else.
What we use it for: one thing. Building your job targets and, if you purchased that tier, reviewing your resume. We do not use it for anything else.
We do not send your resume to employers. We do not submit applications on your behalf, we are not a recruiter or staffing agency, and we have no relationship with any employer. You apply to everything yourself. We never sell your information and never share it with recruiters, employers, or advertisers.
Please do not send us your Social Security number, date of birth, or any health or medical information. We do not need it. If you send it anyway, we delete it.
How long we keep it: your resume and intake documents are deleted 30 days after we deliver your work, or sooner if you ask. Email info@righthandtx.com and say delete my information. No reason is needed. Basic transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require, and those records do not include your resume.
Where it lives: a resume you upload through our site is stored in private cloud storage operated by Vercel, our hosting provider. Private means there is no public web address for your file and it cannot be reached by a link. Anything we handle outside that upload sits in a restricted folder on a machine we control, used only for this purpose. Your file is never placed in a code repository, never published, and never stored in a shared or consumer cloud drive.
How the work is done: we use software to search and filter job listings, as anyone doing this at volume would. A person reads the postings that make the cut and makes the judgment calls. The AI assistant named in Section 4 is part of that research process.
Where we can operate: the career service is available to customers in the United States only. We cannot accept customers in Canada, the United Kingdom, or the European Union. If you purchase from outside the United States we will refund you and delete your information.
11. Build service: scoping information
This section applies only to our build service, where we design and build a single automated workflow for a business. It adds to the rest of this policy.
What we collect: your business name, the name and phone number of the person we work with on the build, the email address used at checkout, and the description of the workflow and the systems it touches that you enter on the scoping form. The phone number is optional.
What we use it for: scoping and building the workflow you bought, and contacting you about it. Nothing else.
Where it lives: the scoping record is stored in private cloud storage operated by Vercel. There is no public web address for it. Scoping records are kept as a record of what was agreed, because that is what protects both sides if there is ever a disagreement about the work.
Please do not put credentials on this form. Do not send passwords, API keys, or account logins through it. If access is needed for the build we will arrange it separately and securely, and you grant it yourself.
Access we are given. If you grant us access to a system to perform the build, we use it only for that build, we ask for the narrowest access that will do the job, and you can revoke it at any time. Tell us when the work is done and we will confirm we no longer hold it.
12. If information is exposed
If your personal information is ever exposed in a security incident, we will tell you. Texas law requires notice within 60 days of determining that a breach occurred, and we will not take the full 60 days if we know sooner. We keep a record of any incident regardless of its size.
